Anita was born in Japan to an Australian mother and Kiwi father and raised in Kyoto, before moving to Brazil in 2008 and then to Melbourne in 2011. Her Japanese soft, feminine roots are coloured with Brazilian rhythmic and harmonic richness. The fullness of her new single Thief is realised within the blending of these two worlds.
