Daníel Sigurðsson is composer and trumpet player from Iceland. Daníel has been involved in the Icelandic music scene in various roles for most of his life, playing in a few jazz bands, a reggae band (Ojba Rasta) as well as writing and producing two progressive jazz / funk albums by his own band Óregla. Artificial Disco is his foray into electronic music, building on his love of electronic artists such as Aphex Twin, Squarepusher and Orbital as well his jazz background.
