My song "Slow Burn" is about my growing resentment towards what a frustrating place the music industry can be at times. There is a constant dialogue from all sides telling artists what to do, and what not to do, and their version of what they think "works" and all of that chatter results in drowning out creative thought entirely. Sometimes it feels less about the quality of my music and more about how many times a week I post to my TikTok and that thought is one of the matches that ignited the fire into writing this song.
