A lot has already happened in the life of Josephine Assayech, a native of St. Gallen in eastern Switzerland. At home in both oriental music and a Puccini piece, she began her musical career at the age of 11 in classical music at the St. Gallen Cathedral Singing School. Over time, her love of jazz/soul and old pop sounds began. With her own interpretations of various cover songs, she revealed an unknown musical side for the first time, in which she incorporated her Italian, Persian and French roots. Most recently with 'Wonderwall', where she merged two otherwise distant musical worlds with a mix of classical high notes and electronic sounds.
