NEWS - HAVARD 'Alone At A Table for Five'

HAVARD is a Norwegian singer/songwriter who reminds many of Leonard Cohen, Tom Waits...

Havard is now ready with his second single, "Alone At A Table For Five," from the upcoming album "Mercy Sea", set to be released later this fall. This gripping track delves into themes of loneliness and the search for belonging, drawing from Havard's own experiences. Havard is known for his raw honesty and ability to convey deep emotions through his music. On his debut album, released four years ago, he openly shared his toughest moments, including abuse, mental health struggles, divorce, and suicidal thoughts. "Alone At A Table For Five" continues this candid storytelling, painting a picture of a man seeking connection and understanding in a world that often feels cold and dismissive. The song portrays the lonely man sitting by himself at a table for five, the one who drinks alone in public, trying to make contact with complete strangers. "Love comes in many forms, and friendship is one of them. The lyrics were born from a three-day trip to my childhood home where we tried to write songs. We wrote about everything under the sun, aiming to convey that life can one day be good, even when you're trapped in what feels like insurmountable darkness," Havard shares. This single serves as a reminder that even in the darkest of times, love and friendship can be the remedy we need. Havard’s music is a tribute to those who stand by us when life is at its heaviest.
