Jessie Kilguss, an American with Irish roots, released her 4th album, The Fastness, in June 2018. In 2015, she sang harmony and played the harmonium with Freddie Stevenson, opening for the Waterboys.
She is a former actress who made the switch to songwriting after joining one of her musical heroes, Marianne Faithfull, in the London and Sydney productions of The Black Rider, a musical written by Tom Waits & William Burrough

Her new full album 'What Do Whales Dream About at Night?' will be released on September 23. That same evening (starting at 8:30), Kilguss celebrate her album with a release show at Rockwood 3 in New York.
