the Swedish singer, songwriter and producer Johanna Brun makes her international debut with her first English-language single Bird, a song she originally wrote several years ago - as a chapter from a terribly difficult and insecure time in her childhood. Johanna's decision to dedicate her life to music was shaped by that difficult time, and as a teenager she won several talent competitions. An English music critic happened to see and hear Johanna Brun at a festival gig in Sweden and was completely overwhelmed by her performance. A couple of weeks ago he published a large article about "the remarkable" and "highly talented" Johanna Brun on the music blog Nordic Music Central. Today, the English blog pays tribute to her single Bird with the words: "If you like songs that soar like a bird, well this is a golden eagle... Brilliant. And beautiful.”
