After almost 10 years touring the US, Canada and Europe with her former band, The Dove & the Wolf, as a singer and session musician, maví lou is embarking on her first solo adventure. Her versatility and skills have also led her to collaborate as a session musician with renowned artists such as Maggie Rogers, The War on Drugs, Vanessa Carlton and Faye Webster. She lived four years in Philadelphia and three in Nashville. maví lou is now back in her hometown of Paris and is about to unveil her first solo EP, grapefruit meditation.

The EP's production process was a unique endeavor, with maví lou challenging herself to write a song a day during a two-week period. The result is a collection of six tracks that capture raw, authentic moments of her life, preserving the original intention and authenticity of her creative process. “This record is a delicate balance between meticulous craftsmanship and raw vulnerability. I didn’t want to lose the authenticity of the initial creative spark”. maví lou’s debut EP is blend of delicate synth-pop production and introspective songwriting ; a prescient meditation on the anxieties of our times, the emotional weight of geographic displacement, the ethereal nature of dreams, and the bittersweet beauty that arises when acknowledging the passing of time.
