New album, "These Eyes", just released

The madness of January 6th is beyond comprehension of any rational person. Who would willingly participate in that chaos? As I watched the endless replays there were clearly those driving the crowd but what about those that followed. Did they realize what they were doing? This song optimistically hopes that the day after some of those people realized that they were lost. That they followed when they should have lead. Found another way. This song tries to capture that moment when just one person changed their path. It's written as a folk song because I wanted the lyrics to lead the way, building on a tradition of singers speaking up when they see something wrong.
