Mexican American and three-time Austin award-winning trio Tiarra Girls - composed of sisters Tori Baltierra, Tiffany Baltierra, and Sophia Baltierra -  mark their first single and music video "Soy Chingona" since signing a co-management deal with Cosmica Artists and 484 Management.

“Soy Chingona” was born and nurtured from the necessity to reclaim power as women who believe in breaking the barriers of patriarchy. Historically, the word was used to describe women as trouble-makers. We became inspired by these women as they went against upholding traditional ideals to fearlessly live their truths.
“Soy Chingona” is an anthem of empowerment, an homage to the women who presently open doors, and a tribute to past Chingonas that opened the path. The lyrics go back and forth between the anthemic empowering message to the reminder of struggles that women of color face. Through this song, we celebrate the beauty of unity amongst women and bring awareness to the growing pains that the path to empowerment can sometimes bring.
As we are all fostering and finding that Chingona essence within ourselves and uplifting others to do the same, we hope “Soy Chingona” serves as an anthem for Chingonas everywhere
