Following the release of her 2023 EP 'Either Way', Canadian singer-songwriter Marissa Burwell returns with the captivating single and music video 'Catch and Release' .
Originating from Regina, Saskatchewan, Marissa Burwell creates music that's part backseat-of-the-minivan crooner and part turn-it-up indie-rock. With a unique blend of warmth and sharp lyrics, she crafts an enchanting indie sound that traverses folk and rock genres. Her 2019 self-titled EP was a stunning debut, leading to international opportunities. In 2022, she released her first full-length album, 'Bittersweet' , a collection that highlighted her sunny vocals and clever lyricism beneath its indie folk veneer. Following this, Burwell released her second EP 'Either Way', via DevilDuck Records which featured the clearest synthesis of her musical sensibilities.
